Fun Fun Fun!!

The past few weeks we have really busy doing lots of fun things! Summers are just the best...and it's flying by WAY to fast!!
We were able to go to Salt Lake and hang out with family and go to the Bees game, which was fun but we ended up leaving in the middle of it because of rain...still fun though! I miss watching Andrew play and going to the games..good times...but I definitely don't miss him being gone every weekend!!
Then we went to Zion to camp and go Canyoneering! Daph, Mitch, Lexi, and my Mom all came down with us. We enjoyed the night setting up camp, eating, roasting marshmallows, and talking around the campfire...
And of course Ems enjoyed exploring and getting dirty..as usual! She stands by herself...but doesn't walk yet...

Aren't these 3 so cute!

The next morning we were off! This was my first time Canyoneering..so excited!! Thanks to my Mom for watching Lex and Ems I was able to finally go with Andrew!! Thank you MOM, you are the BEST!!!
Here is the crew that went...Russell, Hayley, Me, Andrew, Mitch, and Daph

The next pics aren't in order of the canyon...but I had so many I had a hard time choosing!! This is Russell and Andrew, thanks to Russell for always going first to belay us in case we needed saving!!

Me on the final repel!

The hike out after making it through the canyon..

Daph on the last repel...which is a free hanging repel...she did awesome even though she was just a little bit scared;)

Isn't is just gorgeous here...wow!

Bad pic....but here is our great guide! Thanks babe for taking me, it was so fun!! xoxo
The canyon was filled with water most of the way...so we had to repel into water and then swim in many places or wade through it....and it wasn't warm! It was really really cold and we were FREEZING!! Here we finally reached some sunlight so we were trying to unthaw!

Hayley and Russell! These two are pros and helped Daph, Mitch, and I (The inexperienced) Thanks for coming with us!!

Mitch getting set up for the first repel..Daph was behind me and she was trying to be brave, I could tell, but she was crazy nervous sending her little boy down;) Mitch was a pro, not nervous at all!!
Lexi and Ems playing at the park with Grandma while we were canyoneering!

We then were able to have Lex stay with us for a few days...which was lots of fun! She was tons of help with Ems and Ems loved having her to play with! Lex not only entertained, she helped pick up, made her bed everyday(what a good girl), made us laugh and laugh, and was Andrew's little helper ...it was so fun having her! Thanks Lex for staying with us and for all of your help!
Here they are both painting!
A trip to the park...great place!!

Swimming! Emma and Lex...if you look close you can see Emma's two new teeth on the bottom!!!!!
Then we went to our cousin's wedding up Millcreek Canyon. Lynsie looked gorgeous and the atmosphere was beautiful! It was fun seeing everyone and getting to visit with family. I forgot to take my camera..due to our crazy morning leaving so I don't have any pics from the wedding except this family pic we had taken!
The next day we were able to go to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple open house. It was absolutely beautiful! Andrew loved it because it was set up the same way as the Preston Temple in England. There is just a beauty about temples that you don't find anywhere else!
Just thought I would put this in of my little helper trying to help me unload the dishwasher...I can't turn my back for a minute!!

Memorial Day Fun!

This Memorial Weekend was the first since Andrew and I have been married that we haven't been in Salt Lake due to the fact that I couldn't find anyone to work for me, we were pretty bummed because we have enjoyed going and placing flowers on all of the graves of his family..well mine now too!!

So because we were here in Cedar Andrew decided that it would be fun to go to Zion's for the day and take Emma on a hike and enjoy being all together...so that's what we did and it was lots of fun!

It was crazy busy as we expected so the ride up to the river walk was packed on the shuttle and we were the lucky ones to have to stand!! It was definitely worth the stand when we finally stopped and got on the walk...it was so beautiful! I absolutely love seeing all the gorgeous creations of our Heavenly Father, and being in awe of all the beauty around us that He has provided for us! Utah is such an Amazing place!!
After we had reached the end of the official walk path we continued to walk up the river. It was definitely cold but the weather was so nice and sunny that the water felt pretty good and your legs became numb so you really couldn't feel it. After a while we could tell that Ems wanted to get out so on our way back our little angel decided to throw her binki in the river and I just happened to see it as it fell into the water so off I went trying to catch up to it floating down the Virgin River thinking 'why didn't I bring another one?' I caught up to it finally and just in time to have Andrew yell at me to tell me that she threw her hat in!!! So off I went again but this time I wasn't so graceful...I caught up to it grabbed it and fell!! What we do for our little tike!!!!
I wasn't sure if Emma would like getting wet because of how cold the water was so at first we tested it with her toes and of course by the time we left she was sitting in it throwing rocks and sucking the water off of the rocks..nasty I know, EVERYTHING and I mean EVERYTHING goes to her mouth. I figured if she eats the bottoms of our shoes what is a little river water going to do??!

On the walk back we decided to put her in the front so she could see better and she soaked in every minute of it! She waved at practically everyone we walked by...we heard lots of 'Hi's' 'how cute' 'what a happy baby' she kept us laughing! She is already such a little social butterfly, not afraid of strangers, loves to meet new people, and baby babbles to everyone!

Great day in beautiful Zions!! Thanks babe for taking us!!

Bicknell Fun!

I had a few days off during the week so Emma and I took a trip to Bicknell for a few days. It was relaxing and fun. We visited with all my fam and Emma got to play lots with her cousins..that she absolutely loves! She was constant smiles with them around! They were great little mothers to her!
We were able to watch Shelton play baseball, which was lots of fun, and they ended up even winning after being down! Good job Shel!!
Emma got her first horse ride with her Uncle Lance! She was so cute she LOVED it! She didn't ever get nervous and just enjoyed walking around and petting Junior! Thanks Lance!

Kierra, Haylie, and Aja spent a day with us so we decided to go to the park. I just want to tell you this park is so big and fun! Way better than any I have found in Cedar... It has five different slides, climbing areas, monkey bars, swings, and lots more..so fun!
Here's my mom showing the girls how to pump to keep them going high!

This is a little tube that was slanted a little bit so Emma could slide down all by herself! She was all smiles in here, she had lots of fun!
You can't tell from the picture really but this slide is SOO steep! I wasn't sure if I should go down with Ems cause I didn't want to land flat on my toosh, but we braved it and she seemed to really like it!

It was a great few days! Thanks Mom for having us and entertaining us!! Oh and yes Emma's pants are unbuttoned...when Andrew saw the pictures he was wondering why?? Well it's because I grabbed her long pants that are a little small on accident and with them buttoned up they are tight and make her spit up! So she just went around with them unbuttoned...yes she was looking a little like an orphan!
Just thought I would put this pic up...this is Emma's new fun! She climbs up on her rocking chair then stands up! I now have to put it up so she doesn't fall backwards, she thinks she can just sit down and not fall!! She is so fun, I love just watching her explore!!

SuMmEr Is HeRe!

It still hasn't hit me that for the next three months I don't have school..exciting! The past few weeks have been busy but fun! We finished up the semester with finals..which are always exciting! I actually like finals week because it means one more semester down!! We also celebrated Andrew's 25th birthday! It was such a fun day...Emma and I were able to spend the entire day with Andrew..such a treat!! Emma helped daddy open presents, make his cake, played with his balloons, and we went on a picnic to the park to play..nothing exciting but relaxing...which is something Andrew deserved! Hope you had a fun day babe, we love you!
Then graduation! Andrew graduated after another year of tons of hard work excelling the whole way! It has been fun to watch him and see how much he has learned and how knowledgeable he is in the business field! Good job Love we are so proud of you!!!!
It was so fun to be able to go to the commencement service and listen to President Monson speak! We were so close..it was so neat!! The Master graduates come in first so Andrew was only three rows from the front..nice and close!! We were actually seated behind the stage but that was ok because we were close to where they would walk in! It was awesome when after announcing the first two Honorary Doctorate Degree people they then announced President Monson and the entire centrum stood in applause! His talk was great and as usual made you want to always do your best and live in the present to move to the future!

President Monson entering the stage.

Here he was leaving the centrum with security EVERYWHERE!!!

I sure love this guy!!! Just after he was robed!

We had the yummiest chocolate cake at Jess's house that Kelsey and Kaye made and Ems thought it was really tasty as well!

Since graduation I have made my list and I am progressively marking things off of tasks I have wanted to get finished...and I have loved every minute of it. Not to mention I have the best little helper...I put something away and here is my shadow putting it where she thinks it should go! Double the work but triple the joy...I just love being with her all day!!

I was trying to clean out under the stairs where we use it as a pantry and here is my little helper moving things how she likes!!

Emma has turned into quite the little climber...she tries to climb over and up everything! She is getting so fast at going up the stairs, it is the coming down that she struggles with...she just doesn't understand why she can't crawl face forward down....
