We had a great time with the YM and YW in our ward on Saturday! Andrew took the YM camping and invited us YW to come repelling Saturday morning..so of course we went and it was lots of fun!

These are our cute YW that were able to go on short notice! I am sure going to miss all these girls..they are so cute and have been so fun getting to know!
Everyone was getting brave by the end and hanging upside down...thank heavens for good balayers at the bottom holding them up..putting their lives in someone elses hands!!

Andrew got her a harness a long time ago and has been dieing to try it on her and use it..so we did and she really loved it!! Not surprising since she is such a little outdoor girl;)
I was REALLY nervous sending Ems down with Andrew thinking "ok here go the two most important people in my life and they are going to be hanging from a rope...am I crazy??" Everything turned out great of course so.....It was my turn to take Ems down and once I felt how secure she was on me I was just fine!
On our way over the first ledge I heard a boy say to his friend "Man I wish my parents would have been cool like that!!!" I guess we are fun parents;)
Emma was laughing and waving at the girls on top as she was laying on me...so cute!
Such a fun day! The whole time we were there I kept thinking of how much I am going to miss doing this..I guess when we come home to visit we will have to make time to go!!!

That's s awesome Andrew knows how to repel and that you were able to take the Young Women. I didn't know that was your calling - I'm sure your awesome at it. It'd be fun to work with the YW. Emma looks so cute in her little harness. Hopefully you guys will be able to find somewhere to repel in Houston! :)

Oh My Goodness! I was thinking about this the other day and thinking, okay...I need to invest! I'm so excited Ems loved it...she amazes me! Yeah, pretty cool parents I'd say! All parents need to be cool!
